 I am Director Logistics, Sri Lanka Air Force and currently coordinate Air Movements and cargo handling, both National and International, as part of my responsibilities.
I have experience in handling and coordinating humanitarian operations and crisis management .
I have undergone limited Commando training, have also commanded an Operational Air Baseand and have experience in anti-terrorist operations. I have always honoured IHL and Laws of Armed Conflict and conducted operations accordingly.
I am a marksman and represented SLAF in shooting, was an international judge of the ISSF (UIT) and was also an active member of the National Rifle Association (Chairman Technical Committee) from year 2000 till 2004. Presently I am a Vice President in the National Basketball Federation.
I have specialised in Aviation Fuels and also am an Air Loadmaster.
